CONTRACTORS RESUME
Dave Tuggey has been a licensed general contractor working
on a variety of projects since April 1984. Prior to
licensing, Dave attended construction technology and
architectural classes at Santa Monica City College
(1978-1980). Dave’s grandfather was a journeyman carpenter
who first influenced him. During his eight grade school
year, Dave’s woodshop project was to design and build a 15
foot kayak. While attending Santa Monica City College, Dave
went to work for William Grebler & Sons Construction and
worked as an apprentice carpenter gaining experience on both
residential and commercial projects. After leaving William
Grebler & Sons Construction, Dave worked as an independent
journeyman carpenter on projects throughout Southern
California.
As a licensed general contractor, Dave has concentrated his
work on remodel and additions to homes in the Los Angeles
area. Dave has been fortunate to work on numerous upscale
homes and his client list includes celebrities and
successful professionals.
Dave’s many years of experience has allowed him to work with
many well know designers, architects and engineers. These
relationships as well his experience working on their
various projects has given him the expertise to successfully
complete upscale and detailed construction projects.
In addition, to the years of general contracting experience
while running his own successful construction company, Dave
has also worked as a superintendent and project manager for
a number of local construction companies.
